1987 Porsche 911 Turbo

I really enjoy seeing some of the closer, detail, shots of the 930. The car is instantly recognizable as a 911 and the details then provide us those subtle clues that hint at this being something more than a standard 911. The wider rear arches stretching over the rear wheels. Those distinctive lines of the spoiler that guide air into the intercooler and help differentiate this from the basic whale tail. Just the general slightly muscled and aggressive overall look, which lets everyone know that this is a car that requires respect from its driver but that it also remains a usable and streetable machine. The car we have here is a one-owner Guards Red 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo, located in Miami, with only 34,000 miles on it. The seller does not appear to possess much background or documentation of the car’s history, but from what we can see the care the car has received was considerable.

1987 Porsche 911 930 Turbo

The Iconic 930 as everyone knows are skyrocketing in value faster then you can keep up with.

Its getting harder everyday to find affordable Turbos that haven’t had a abusive lifestyle.

This 1 Pilot Owned example has had a extremely well cared for life and the car shows for it.

The original owner was a American Airlines pilot and had the car registered here in Florida and out of the country
to were his flight route would end.Unfortunately we bough the car after he passed and did not receive much paperwork on the car.

The Guards red paint is Very nice condition with the exception of small rock chips from normal road use.
It has had the two doors painted due to sun fading, but has never been in any type of accident as every panel has the matching vin tags (including the doors)
This 930 does have a Clean Carfax and vehicle history…
3.3 Liter Turbocharged Flat 6 is very dry underneath and pulls hard though all the gears with no hesitation or unusual noises.
4 speed transmission enters all the gears very smooth with no worn sychros or bushings.
This car does however still retain the Factory manuals, Porsche inflation device, Jack, tools, and two Porsche keys.

Ready to be driven or stored for investment… dont pass up this 930, they will be untouchable a year from now.

While $89,000 isn’t exactly a low asking price for any 930, I suspect given the low mileage and that this is a one-owner car, then this one should have no trouble finding a buyer. There’s probably just the matter of sorting out any documentation and verifying everything on the car is as it should be. But we’ve seen cars like this with asking prices in the six figures so prospective buyers may need to act fast.

“prospective buyers may need to act fast.”

When I saw the price, I thought, “That’s it?”
