1993 Volkswagen Eurovan

$_57

The Eurovan may be the least-loved generation of VW vans, but it’s grown on me. Similarly, non-poptop campers have become a new object of desire, bringing simplicity and sleek looks while still providing significant capability. This teal van has a convertible bed out of the rear seats as well as a table in the middle, with a rare drivetrain combo in the inline-5 and manual. All told, it looks like a great deal to be able to tackle all kinds of adventures for well under $10k.

Non pop-top Eurovan MV 7 seater camper with table and bed. 5 speed manual. Just under 105,000 genuine miles. Clean car fax. Rust free So Cal van all its life. This is the only year with manual transmission. The auto transmissions have a high failure rate and are very expensive to repair. This van will buzz along at 80mph all day and still gets 20mpg. I went through this vehicle after I bought it and got everything addressed to make it reliable and ready to go camping, but my circumstances changed and I no longer need it. 7 seats. Folding double bed. Fold out table, All curtains are included.

The low mileage and three-pedal setup are really attractive, and with a little ingenuity this could be a serious roadtripper. The bright hue keeps it playful, and overall I think $8k is very fair for this capable blue-green monster. A space case on top and some bikes on the back complete the dream of affordable adventures.
