Whatever the case may be, this was a worthy follow-on to the much loved, first generation M Coupe, known as the “clownshoe.” This Z4 M Coupe for sale in Winnipeg, Manitoba was brought to our attention from our reader Toshihiko. Considering the rarity of this car and the ever increasing prices of this car’s predecessor, the S54 engined Z3-based M Coupe, the asking price is in the ballpark. We came across a 2007 M Coupe for sale last October with 57,000 miles that sold for $23,599. That was a rather standard silver car. However, with just over 1,800 produced for the North American market, you are buying into a rare slice of BMW history.
