BMW’s Individual department really hit its stride in the F8x series cars, with a tremendous amount of custom-painted M3s and M4s streaming into our country alone. A claimed 1,193 M3 sedans were specified through BMW Individual before making their way to the US; to give some perspective, that’s only slightly less than the entire North American E28 M5 run. 96 of the F80s run through Individual were finished in today’s shade of Ferrari Red, but this one also has a special surprise inside:

Selling a stock 2016 BMW M3 in immaculate condition. Vehicle was garage kept and has never seen snow or any conditions other than dry weather. Vehicle is completely stock from the factory. Runs and drives excellent. It took me over a year to find this car with the options it features. It is Ferrari Red from the factory, tan leather interior, with premium rims. I was able to finally find the vehicle in Florida and had it professionally transported to Chicago where the vehicle is now – at my home. This car is a complete show stopper – I can’t tell you how many times I got compliments for the color as well that it is stickshift. It’s sad but, they aren’t making as many stickshift cars as they used to. Now it can be yours to enjoy… Selling due to some changes in my family.

The interior color is BMW Individual Gold Brown, and wow – does it look fantastic. I assumed that the interior would be black here, but the splash of color really pulls together the Ferrari paint on the outside. Personally, I think that brushed metal trim would have been a better match than the ordered carbon fiber, but the combination of a double Individual color pallet and a six-speed manual are pretty sweet. This one has actually been driven a moderate amount, as well. Pricing? Well, right at the top frankly. $62k and change is a lot to ask for a 44k mile example, and you don’t have to look too hard to find another in a neat color with lower mileage for a lot less. I know, say what you will, but at ~$63k you’re only 10% away from the price of a brand new G80 M3. I’m not sure I’d pay such a premium for this particular one even though the color is neat. What I did find, however, is that there was apparently one F80 M3 ordered in Audi-specification Goodwood Green Pearl Effect – the hunt is on!
