2022 Porsche 718 Spyder 000 Package

I’m a sucker for special editions and crazy packages, and today’s car is something I didn’t expect to see come from Porsche. What we have today is a 2022 Porsche 718 Spyder with the 000 Package. What exactly is that? 000 Magazine, which is a really great quarterly if you can swing the price, partnered up with the Porsche Exclusive department to offer a package that bundled a bunch of different options today. It was offered in four colors: GT Silver Metallic, along with paint-to-sample shades of Brewster Green, Albert Blue, and today’s color, Slate Grey. You also got the interior trimmed in Ascot Brown leather, LED Headlights with PDLS+, brake calipers in high-gloss black, black brushed aluminum trim, and illuminated doorsills in stainless steel with the 000 logo. If you opted for GT Silver Metallic, the pricing came in at $143,380. However, add another $13,000 for those other paint-to-sample colors. All in, you are probably around $160,000. Do you want exclusive? You’ll pay.

Recent Arrival!

I’m surprised that Porsche went for this agreement, but Pete Stout has been in the Porsche game since the early 1990s and represents the brand extremely well. His 000 magazine is probably the best print magazine out there in terms of quality, so I’m not totally shocked this came to be.

Sadly just 443 miles on this one before the owner gave it up or there were other back door handshake deals. I say that because, despite that roughly $160,000 sticker price, this one is listed for $196,999. Yikes. Nearly $200,000 for a 718 Spyder and you don’t even get carbon ceramics or the carbon bucket seats. Cool that these exist, but man they are expensive.

geez…for that price you are pretty close to a Cayman GT4RS…, but I would prefer the Albert Blue…. interesting find.

Beautiful spec for sure – although if I am paying all this money I would have picked Albert or Brewster.

The steering wheel looks off – was it that much more expensive to get the center matched to a shade of brown too ?

Cool car, but my problem with it is the same as all 4.0 liter 718s – you just can’t get one anywhere near msrp. I looked at speccing out a 718 cayman GTS until I found out that the waiting list for unconnected chumps like myself would be approximately 2 years long, at which point the car may be out of production. And that’s with a significant ADM.
