Living in a fairly wealthy, urban area, the BMW 3 series seems as ubiquitous as a Toyota Camry. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. These compact BMWs are certainly capable of cars, but as a former E30 owner, the new ones fail to relight my fire, lest I steal a line from one of my favorite Dan Hartman songs from the late 1970s. This 2011 328i Coupe for sale from our friends at Euro Automotion has me doing a double take, however. Sure, it’s saddled with the 6-speed automatic, but considering the mileage and condition, this is a quite affordable option to a well-optioned, brand new subcompact.

Just reduced $2k, great value. Local two owner 2011 BMW 328i coupe finished in Vermillion Red Metallic over Black Leather interior. This former Certified Pre-Owned BMW has a clean title and CARFAX that shows regular maintenance. Equipped with the premium (moonroof, lumbar support, etc) and value (power seats, iPod adapter) packages. Other options include heated seats, navigation, xenon adaptive lights, Steptronic automatic transmission, and a sport suspension. This 328i runs and drives wonderfully and has very low miles at 34k. Includes a full set of new tires, manuals, all weather front mats, and the original window sticker.
I really appreciate German cars that aren’t painted in the usual white, silver or black. Sure, people always say that cars painted those color sell well, but shouldn’t life be more interesting? This Vermillion Red looks quite classy on this coupe. While it may not have the twin-turbo inline six under the hood, the 3.0 liter inline-6 is still quite a lusty, capable engine without the worries of forced induction maintenance issues over the long haul. This car is a classic example of how waiting a few years can net you something very nice and lightly used for a lot less coin than what it cost new off the dealer lot.
