Here’s a fine example of my favorite car in the world. A 1995 Porsche 928 GTS. This particular car is almost certainly one of the lowest mileage examples in the country, and is priced accordingly. As you may know, only 406 928 GTSs were sold in North America between 1992 and 1995. The 1992 model year cars were sold as 1993s, thereby dividing 1993 production into early 1992 928s, and late (real 1993) 928s. For 1995, only 77 GTSs were imported, 47 of which were automatics. This car is one of those 47, and judging by the mileage and color combination, it is certainly one of the most desirable.

The E36 M3 is hands-down one of the performance bargains out there right now. Even as we’ve seen E36 prices come up a little, they’re still pretty much the cheapest entry point into an ///M car – of any generation. This 1995 Coupe exemplifies this value, looking nearly perfect in black on black after 114k miles, but asking less than $9k. E24, E28, E30, E34, E36/8, E39, E46, E92, etc… all of their ///M models, in this condition, would cost significantly more. The only blemish I see here is some worn paint on the front of the engine, but the interior and exterior both look pristine. I may be partial towards the E36 sedan, but I could do without a couple doors for this price.

3 CommentsI’ve been banging on about Volkswagen’s misfortune with their diesel emissions scandal of late. Part of me is sitting back, without a care in the world as to what effect it will have on the company. Another part of me is feeling as if we’ve really lost the makings of a legendary car company. No matter what you might think of him, I’m going to cop a line from Donald Trump’s US Presidential Campaign and wish that someone would “Make Volkswagen Great Again.” Now, with my usual gripe out of the way, let’s take a look at this 1995 Volkswagen Corrado for sale in Ontario, Canada. Corrado sales in the US halted in 1994, but continued on for the model’s final year in 1995 north of the border. This example in Moonlight Blue Metallic looks sharp with the Recaro cloth interior and is equipped with dual airbags, a feature rarely seen on these sports coupes.

2 CommentsAfter the Japanese started an onslaught on the mid-sized luxury sedan sector in the 1990s, the Germans were caught a bit off guard. Sure, Audi had already introduced the V8, but it was aimed slightly higher up in the market than the BMW 5 series and the Mercedes-Benz E-class. Nevertheless, both BMW and Mercedes-Benz decided it was high time to jam an eight cylinder powerplant under the hood of their venerable mid-sized offerings. This E34 5 series would receive two V8s, a 3.0 liter and 4.0 liter. This 1995 540i M Sport represents the last year for the E34 but has been likened as an “M5 lite” by enthusiasts. Given that E34 M5 sales ended in 1993, it gave those speed freaks out there one last chance to get a fast five before the E39 would come along in 1996.

2 CommentsThe 1995 BMW 850CSi we featured two summers ago is back up for sale on Bimmer Forums. The car has covered just under 1,000 miles in that time, but besides that fact, this has to be one of the best higher mileage E31s I’ve seen in some time. Along with its contemporary, the Porsche 928GTS, these big cruisers are bringing strong money these days. Will this one meet the ask this time around?
