1995 Mercedes-Benz E320 Estate

Twenty years on, you still see plenty of W124 Mercedes-Benzes pounding the pavement. Christened the E class upon its introduction in 1986, this range had a monumental task of taking over from one of the most legendary Mercedes models of all time, the W123. But the W124 became a legend in its own right, with an expansive choice of models that included a sedan, coupe, four-seater cabriolet, the manic 500E/E500 and this car, the estate. This final year E320 Estate for sale in California is a one-family vehicle that has covered under 100,000 miles.

1995 Porsche 968 Club Sport

For all the air-cooled Porsches that we feature, there is still one outlier that is the ne plus ultra when it comes to P-cars for me. The 968 Club Sport. This was another one of those forbidden fruits to US customers, but a formula which enthusiasts copied in earnest by either cobbling together a few of the more performance oriented options available at the time, such as the M030 option package, or by way of the aftermarket. Out of the box, the Club Sport was ready to hit the track, with about 222 pounds shed from the curb weight by way of deletion of luxury trimmings and complimented with a more aggressive suspension setup. This Club Sport for sale in Maryland has been worked over a bit to make it even more fearsome for track days.

1995 Porsche 968 with 40k miles

Following on to the early 924 we just featured, here we have the opposite end of the spectrum when it comes to four-cylinder, front-engined Porsche: the 968. What was originally supposed to be designated the 944S3 turned into the 968 after engineers realized so little was left of the 944 platform. Complementing the evolutionary styling was an enlarged 3.0 liter inline-4 with VarioCam variable valve timing and a 6-speed manual gearbox (4-speed tiptronic was optional). For those who want an affordable, modern Porsche but might not be turned on by a Boxster, these 968 Coupes and Cabriolets offer enthusiasts a unique proposition. This 968 Coupe with a 6-speed manual for sale in Illinois is a lower mileage example sure to please the more serious driver.

1995 Audi S6 Avant

About a month ago Paul wrote up an Emerald 1995 S6 Avant with reasonable mileage at a reasonable price. Unfortunately for fans of non-dated colors, it seems that most of the S6 Avants came in this shade, and unless it was really well cared for it never makes the car stand out. Today, however, there is a bit of a shining star – this particular S6 is offered in Casablanca White, a very rare option to see. Not much is shown of the interior but the exterior sure looks clean:

1995 BMW 730i 5-speed Manual

I’m not a conventional person by any stretch of the means. This is probably why I’m turned on whenever I see a large luxury sedan equipped with a manual gearbox. Like this BMW 730i for sale in Potsdam, Germany equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox. This was the first year for the E38 7 series, and while we saw this engine and gearbox in the E34 530i, this 730i model was one that never made it here.
