Too many 911 Turbos come in Black or Silver. That’s no fun. We see Guards Red too, though by the time we’ve reached the 996 even red has become a much more fleeting alternative. So I always like coming across those in other colors. Speed Yellow is probably not even that uncommon, but it provides plenty of brightness to help attract attention with all of that horsepower. Granted, nothing will top the Signal Green Turbo S we featured last year, but bright yellow does a good enough job and it’s for sale for half the price of green. Not too bad!

I’ve kind of been going back and forth lately with my 996TT features with some of them being very low mileage and testing the potential collector market – while also stretching our sense of their performance value – and others coming in at much more reasonable prices as the miles go up. Most of those higher priced examples also had the X50 performance package as really it is only those cars that are likely to elicit much interest from collectors. This one slots in between those various others, though given that it does not have the X50 package that puts it on the higher end of the standard Turbo. Still at under $50K – just under! – the performance value is still pretty good. The premium asked here comes because of the fairly low mileage and the less common color, as we’d expect. As usual, there will be plenty of questions to be asked, but a PPI and service records should address most concerns. If everything comes through in good shape, then a new owner should be getting into a really nice Turbo.
