First up is this beautifully photographed Mercedes 500E that has covered under 70k miles! Take a look at this example offered by Landmark Motors in Kirkland, Washington for $27,000, found originally via Craigslist:

I find the asking price a bit eye watering to be honest. It looks fantastic and there are very few with that kind of mileage. But it’s not 7k miles, it’s 70k. High teens, low twenties seems more appropriate to me.
At the other end of the spectrum is this sharp looking driver for $8950 in Georgia:

As for mine, it has been meticulously cared for. It was owned first by a retired Army general, then by an editor of a British Mercedes-Benz enthusiast magazine (living here in the states). I purchased it with the intentions of keeping it forever, but change of priorities means I must offer it up for sale, unfortunately. This car, for its age and miles, is immaculate. The leather on the seats is excellent, no cracks in the dash, carpet is very good as well. Everything is in good working condition and the A/C blows snow. There are the typical minor leaks here and there, but nothing unusual. The engine pulls very strongly, the transmission shifts great. The car has performance brake pads and slotted rotors for great bite. It has been lowered slightly with H&R springs, giving it a great stance and a still-supple ride. It has been fitted with several thousand dollars’ worth of 18″ AMG wheels and Kumho ASX tires. Paint is excellent for a driver of this age, with just a few imperfections here and there, and some rock chips up front and a small bubble on the leading edge of the sunroof. There is a considerable stack of records to go with the car, several spare keys, and otherwise it is just as beautiful as pictured! Car has had the wiring harness update, and transmission was rebuilt not long before I got it. Over the summer, I replaced the valve cover gaskets and installed new adjustable Koni “yellow” struts to go with the H&R Sport springs. Car has 269K miles on it, mostly all highway, and looks and drives like it has much, much less!
Sure, this one has 269k miles(!), but previous ownership sounds promising. I mean, if it has a stack of records and the PPI shows a strong runner, why not? Plus the AMG Monoblock rims look right at home inside the wider arches of the 500E. Mercedes of this vintage and earlier are known to run forever and I dare you to find a cooler car for the money!
