1996 Porsche 911 Turbo

The Porsche 993 will forever be immortalized by 911 enthusiasts. The last of the air-cooled 911s, this car was considered the pinnacle of Porsche engineering before the company sold out and started expanding offerings outside of the typical sports car genre. The Turbo was the latest in a long line of super fast 911s, and was the first Turbo to employ both twin turbochargers and all-wheel drive. With 400 horsepower on tap, these cars were capable of running to 60 mph in under four seconds, making it one of the fastest cars of the era. This Turbo for sale in New Jersey looks sinister in black and represents the first year of the Turbo for the 993.

1996 Porsche 911 Turbo on eBay

1996 Porsche 911 Turbo. Black on black leather. Only 33,917 miles. Rare collectible, looks stunning! Perfect color combination, 3M clear bra, H&R lowering springs, stainless steel exhaust tips, aluminum bezel dials, power seat package.

Condition: Unbelievable condition, runs and drives great. Paint is in excellent condition. Minor rock chips up front as can be expected but hardly noticeable. No accidents, clean auto check. Original tags throughout every panel. Non-smoker, wheels are in perfect condition. Garage queen.

Low mileage 993 Turbos have held their value well over time. Cars with under 30,000 miles can regularly bring $70,000 and higher. One must also keep in mind that the 1996 models differ from later 1997 and 1998 models, in that the later models had strengthened transmission shafts, a modifiable ECU and a passenger airbag shutoff sensor. While this car doesn’t have much more than 30,000 miles on the clock, there’s not much that makes it stand out amongst other mint Turbos on the market. I’d say the sweet spot for this car price wise would be in the $60,000 to $70,000 range.

The 993 Turbo is by far my favorite 911 of all time.

There was no 1998 Turbo. These cars have seen a nice bump in price recently and I have seen some sub 30k examples trade in the $80k plus range
