The Porsche 993 will forever be immortalized by 911 enthusiasts. The last of the air-cooled 911s, this car was considered the pinnacle of Porsche engineering before the company sold out and started expanding offerings outside of the typical sports car genre. The Turbo was the latest in a long line of super fast 911s, and was the first Turbo to employ both twin turbochargers and all-wheel drive. With 400 horsepower on tap, these cars were capable of running to 60 mph in under four seconds, making it one of the fastest cars of the era. Low mileage 993 Turbos have held their value well over time. Cars with under 30,000 miles can regularly bring $70,000 and higher. One must also keep in mind that the 1996 models differ from later 1997 and 1998 models, in that the later models had strengthened transmission shafts, a modifiable ECU and a passenger airbag shutoff sensor. While this car doesn’t have much more than 30,000 miles on the clock, there’s not much that makes it stand out amongst other mint Turbos on the market. I’d say the sweet spot for this car price wise would be in the $60,000 to $70,000 range.
