2005 Porsche 911 Turbo S Coupe

I’ve mentioned previously that there aren’t a lot of the 2005 Porsche 911 Turbo S Coupes around. And it’s true – for a while I only rarely would come across one as most examples of the Turbo S were produced as a Cabriolet. Yet, here I have the third one in the past couple months. Like the others it’s equipped with a manual transmission, though unlike the others its mileage is a little higher. Not ‘high’ exactly as it sits at only 48,582, but higher than those other comparable models. With that comes perhaps a discount for what is a phenomenal performer?

**Carfax Certified** 2005 Porsche 911 Turbo S Coupe!! The only one for sale in the US! Manual Transmission, Non-Smoker, Fully Serviced, IMMACULATE inside and out. Factory Navigation, Brand new Plugs and Coil Packs, Brand New Clutch, good Michelin Pilot PS2 Tires, Factory Ceramic Brakes. These cars are already becoming collectible, only about 600 Manual coupes were made. As you probably already know this car comes from the factory with the 18K option X50 Package. That includes larger K24 turbos and Intercoolers. Fully inspected. We offer financing for ALL credit types, call for more details.

The last Turbo S I featured had an asking price of $76,500 and it sold. For how much it sold I’m not exactly sure, but we can probably assume it was close to asking since I don’t think it was around all that long. It was a good bit lower mileage – 12.5K vs 48.5K – and here we should get a sense of how that affects things. The overall condition of this one looks fine and well cared for. There’s little wear to be seen either inside or out, which is just as we’d hope. There’s not much word on documentation, but given its relative youth we can hope there are some maintenance records available. As for the price, bidding sits at $49,800 with reserve unmet and not a lot of time left. I suspect the seller will be hoping for a bit more so with some luck someone may still have a good shot at this one either just before this auction ends or perhaps if there’s no sale then just after.

The odometer pictured shows 51,600 miles, the auction says 48,500. Someone’s had some good times…. Bidding is in the high $50’s right now so moving up fast….

Ugh those 996 interiors are just hideous. Even at the time, I thought that they looks worse than a comparable Audi of the same era. They’ve aged poorly. I don’t even mind the fried egg headlights. Just that interior. Great performance bargain though

@Matt. I totally agree on the interior and exterior sentiment.
