2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

After that last Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth, I thought I’d get back on the right track with another SLS that is much more special. This 2012 up for sale in Germany starts out tame enough in Obsidian Black Metallic, but when you open those doors you get hit with a color combo that I’ve never seen before and didn’t even think was possible. It is worth the click.

If the SLS AMG from Mercedes-Benz were a trampoline and not a car, it would be called cheeky.

Hello Condor-Bordeaux. Needless to say this was a creation of the designo wing of Mercedes and boy did they go different with this one. I personally like it as it pushes right up to the limit of a little bit crazy but not gaudy or offensive. The carbon trim is a little odd with the Bordeaux, but I can live with it.

This car is actually at the same dealer as the wild C43 AMG in Lapis Blue is and they seem to have a thing for wild color combo. They also seem to have a thing for wild prices too. This one has an ask of $256,000, which is by the highest asking price I’ve ever seen on a non-Black Series SLS. Its not like this car has no miles as well, as this one checks in at around 12,500 miles. I understand this interior is really rare and special, but this should probably be a somewhere between $150,000-175,000. Maybe the German market is different for the SLS? Either way this price isn’t adding up for me.
