2015 Mercedes-Benz E350

Last week I checked out a W212 E63 S AMG Estate in the wild Dolomite Brown Metallic. Today we have another W212, but unlike the E63, this one doesn’t do 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds while hauling a load of drywall. This is just the regular 3.5 V6 that makes a respectable 302 horsepower. So what is so special about it? Well, if you haven’t noticed, it once again is the color. This 2015 E350 for sale in Charlotte, NC is painted in Indigo Blue Metallic and is one of my favorite modern Mercedes colors. It is a little bit of blue and a little bit of purple and a whole lot of awesome in my eyes.

This powerful 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E350 is a great looking Sport Sedan with Navigation, Premium sound, Leather interior and more.

The 3.5L V6 produces over 300hp and combined with the 7-speed automatic transmission provides excellent and smooth acceleration and great fuel economy.

You will enjoy driving this eye catching Indigo Blue Metallic with 18″ AMG twin 5-spoke alloy wheels to work or on a weekend road trip.

I adore this color. It’s not too flashy but it doesn’t get lost in the sea of black, whites and grays. It direct sunlight you might even call it purple but when it gets dark you would swear it is more of a navy blue. Unfortunately, I believe they only offered this color on the W212 in North America, so no chance of seeing it on an SL or AMG-GT. This good news is that is was offered on both the E63 S AMG sedan and estate. Unlike the Dolomite Brown, this Indigo looks fantastic on the wagon. Back to this car, I really like this trend of ”natural wood” as opposed to the glossed wood we’ve been seeing for the last 50 years on cars. Audi has been doing it, BMW does it with the i3 and I think a few more brands do but can’t think of them off the top of my head.

As for the price of almost $34,000, it is what it is. As cool as this color is, I don’t think it adds a penny of value. This is just another mass produced E-Class that will be worth $14,000 in five years and probably half of that in five years after that. Thankfully, this color won’t get any less awesome, so if you are like me and wait the 10 to 12 years from manufacture date to seriously start shopping this, then you are in luck on this one.
