2022 Porsche 718 Spyder 000 Package

A handful of months ago I took a look at a Porsche with a very interesting package that you probably never heard of. It wasn’t an official package per se, but Porsche greenlit a series of cars all with the relatively same options and dealers called it the “000 Package.” That of course was in reference to 000 Magazine and Pete Stout. You can go back and read the original post that explains more and gives a full breakdown on equipment and options.

Today, we have one of the 000 Package cars up for sale in, you guessed it, California, with a few more options than the first car and a lower price. Funny how that works.

Road Rich Motors is proud to offer this very rare 000 package 2022 Boxster Spyder finished in Paint to Sample Slate Grey Non Metallic over Porsche Exclusive Ascot interior with carbon bucket seats. Other options include LED headlights with PDLS+, Fire Extinguisher, 2 zone climate control, Bose surround sound, Apple car play, Navigation, brake calipers in high gloss black, steering column casing in leather, $33k in special wishes. Clean carfax, one-owner car. Please call or email for more photos or information.

This is another one of the Slate Grey cars and the biggest difference with this car is the full carbon bucket seats. Not cheap at all with a price tag of $5,900, but to me, they are totally worth it. The big thing to remember here is that this was a car with a $98,300 base price and suddenly checked in with a total price of $164,485 thanks to all the boxes that were checked. Worth it? How much do you love the Spyder? If you forced me to buy one of those 000 Package editions I’d hunt really hard for one of the Brewster Green examples or maybe even the Albert Blue if I couldn’t find a green example.

Now for the fun part. This one has an asking price of $184,718. (Nice pun.) That car I looked at in September? $196,999. And that was without bucket seats. Another sign of softening Spyder prices? I sure hope so.

If I was going the pts route, it would not be for gray… and the total price on this one should cause it to languish…many other choices at that price point…

I’d think I’d pass on the dealership markup option and use the savings for the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) and Burmester® High-End Surround Sound System options instead…

For that money would go for 911 Targa 4 or even an S in PTS Traffic light yellow/orange and a few options
