1998 Mercedes-Benz G320

Whenever I see a Europa Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen pop up for sale, I always take time to really check it out. Personally, if you gave me the choice to buy and live with any G-Wagen out there, from military-spec W460s all the way up to W463 G65 AMGs, I’d probably pick a Europa truck. I think they are the perfect compromise between the spartan offerings and the outrageous luxury you can get from a G-Wagen. You get a G that still can be daily driven in total comfort with modern safety but without the crazy options that ultimately you fear of breaking and then driving you nuts. This 1998 G320 up for sale in New Jersey just might be the perfect G-Wagen but fair warning, something this good won’t come cheap.

2016 Mercedes-Benz G300 CDI 6×6

The last time I looked at a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen 6×6 it was not what you probably expected to see. A 2016 G300 CDI 6×6 that was built for military use and was as bare bones as you could possibility get. Today, we have another 2016 G300 CDI 6×6 from the same seller in Austria but as you might have noticed, this one looks a bit different. At first glance I thought this was your regular 6×6 (if you can call a 6×6 ”regular”) judging by the over the top body panels, but then it hit me that Mercedes and AMG never made any civilian 6x6s in diesel form. Add that together with this truck being for a sale at a place that literally builds G-Wagens from the ground up and you have quite the interesting combination going on here.

2002 Mercedes-Benz G500 Faux×Faux²

Do you really want a Mercedes-Benz G550 4×4² but short about $200,000? Well, I have a solution for you. This is a 2002 G500 up for bid in New Jersey that has been jacked up thanks to a suspension lift and 40 inches. Not to end it there, the body work has been added to mimic a 4×4² thanks to the W463 literally staying the same for the past 15 years. All this sounds pretty good in theory, but put in practice like we see here, I think it’s a disaster. Let me tell you why.

2018 Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet

Late last year, Mercedes-Benz cooked up one of their craziest creations yet. One part G550 4×4², one part G65 AMG and one part Maybach S650 Cabriolet. They threw all that together and the robots from Affalterbach spit out this thing: the Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet. It weighs 7300 pounds, has 621 hp along with 738 lb-ft of torque and will get to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds. Every angle of this W463 on steroids is totally ridiculous and we didn’t even open the doors yet. Even more ridiculous? The price tag. I hope you are sitting down.

1990 Mercedes-Benz 300GE Cabriolet

It has been awhile since I’ve featured a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen Cabriolet because frankly, they don’t come up for sale all that often. People that know what they are usually want them pretty badly and when they get their hands on one, they keep it for a while. The last one I checked out was a 1999 G500 Cabriolet that was nearly perfect and came with a price tag to match at $150,000. Today’s G, a 1990 300GE for sale in Las Vegas,  is still a W463 but obviously a little older. This one however is a little cheaper and thanks to a bunch of custom touches, even a little bit cooler in my eyes. Although I want to be clear here. The word ”cheaper” is a relative term when talking about these trucks. They are still really expensive in the grand scheme of things. How expensive?
