Sure, people tend to ogle over the 993 as it was the final air-cooled 911, but the C4S is just one of those cars that, 17 years on, is just about as close to timeless as you can get. The wide fenders and subtle ground effects just make for such a visually appealing sports car while the proportions are still close to the original vehicle that debuted all the way back in the 1960s. For sale – 1997 Porsche Carerra C4S – Guards red, tan all leather interior. Car is in impeccable condition – currently in winter storage. Always well taken care of – have owned for several years but now it is time to part ways. Car only driven on beautiful days when possible, never seen salt or snow. We featured a 993 C4S in November of last year that had just shy of 20,000 miles on the clock and did not meet its reserve with a final bid of $75,100. With a little more than double the mileage, the price here is pretty realistic. More often than not the folks who own these late model air-cooled 911s take care of them, and this car is no exception. We can’t repeat it enough, but it’s doubtful these 911s will lose much value going forward. Get yours when you can.
