Short $50,000 or more? Join the club there, as well. But let’s say you just really like the look of the M5 Touring, and don’t care about its fantastic (and expensive) S38 motor or all the special hand-built details. Well, today’s car might be for you. Presented in Cashmere Beige Metallic, this 525i Touring has the look of its bad-boy brother with a set of fantastic M Parallels mounted up. Like Andrew said the other day in his E320 wagon post, it’s amazing what a set of wheels can do.

2002 Audi TT Coupe 225 Quattro ALMS Edition

Back in November, I took a look at one of the more slick 8Ns out there – the ALMS Edition:

Today we’re back with a similar model, but this one has been turned up quite a few notches with some high-dollar parts from a veritable who’s who in the Audi/VW tuning realm. Does it retain the great aspects of the original?

1975 Mercedes-Benz 280SL

At some point, you have to throw in the towel. A car that gets too far gone and well past the point of mathematical sense to fix, or try to dish it off as a parts car. Ideally, you are never faced with the situation, but when you are, you probably have to take a real hard look from an outside perspective. I think today’s car, a 1975 Mercedes-Benz 280SL, is one of those situations.

This is admittedly a rare Euro car with the slim bumpers, nice headlights, and M110 inline-six engine. Other than that, it is a typical R107 that there are more than plenty out there at every price level. The problem is, the condition is not good – not good at all. Is it worth saving?

2000 Mercedes-Benz E320

I’ve been harping about the W210 Mercedes-Benz E320 wagon the past few weeks and all, but don’t forget the sedan was the real mover when it came to this generation E-Class. It was a stark departure from the W124 and it’s “old school” Mercedes feel and blocky design. But by the facelift models starting in the 2000 model year, they started to really come into their stride. That was of course if it didn’t rust away, which was a major problem. Today, we have a seemingly innocent looking E320, which is why I quickly dismissed it. However, I saw it pop up again and figure something had to be up for it to be priced at $12,000 for having 110,000 miles. Then I saw inside.

2002 Mercedes-Benz E320 Wagon

I love how a set of wheels can take a car from a “boring station wagon” to “getting 634 likes on Instagram” without much effort at all. For the W210 Mercedes-Benz E320 wagon, it is simple as throwing some 18″ AMG Monoblocks on it and calling it a day. Yes, it needs about a 2″ suspension drop, but we are certainly on the right track here with this 2002 up for sale in Connecticut. Especially since it is cheaper than the 2003 E320 wagon from a few weeks ago. Much cheaper.
