2022 Porsche 718 Spyder 000 Package

A handful of months ago I took a look at a Porsche with a very interesting package that you probably never heard of. It wasn’t an official package per se, but Porsche greenlit a series of cars all with the relatively same options and dealers called it the “000 Package.” That of course was in reference to 000 Magazine and Pete Stout. You can go back and read the original post that explains more and gives a full breakdown on equipment and options.

Today, we have one of the 000 Package cars up for sale in, you guessed it, California, with a few more options than the first car and a lower price. Funny how that works.

2010 Wiesmann GT MF4-S Roadster

I guess lightning does strike twice. Last November I took a look at a 2008 Wiesmann GT MF4 which ended up being one of the more popular posts for the year – and that surprised me. Looking back, maybe it was because we almost never see them and most don’t even know they exist. Wouldn’t you have it, I bump into the roadster model of the GT MF4, the GT MF4-S. Outside of being a roadster, the biggest change is the powertrain. The popular M3-sourced BMW S65B40 is paired with a seven-speed DCT automatic gearbox. Talk about an upgrade.

2006 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe

Bringing $35,000 to a Porsche 911 party isn’t going to buy you much unless you want a 996 generation. Anything earlier you might be able to swing a previously salvaged convertible and anything later doesn’t have the depreciation capability to get down to that price point. However, a base 997.1 with some miles will maybe fit in that budget if you look hard enough. Wouldn’t you know it, that is exactly what we have here with this 2006 up for sale in New Jersey. The best part? It isn’t even a Tiptronic car!

1 of 4: Acid Green 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder

Back in 2020, Andrew looked at the Porsche 911 Turbo S Edition 918 Spyder. What was it? Well, it was run of 918 special 911 Turbos that were made to accompany your 918 Spyder purchase. The tell was Acid Green accents; otherwise, they were pretty standard. To me, that just wasn’t enough.

So what do we have here? Well, obviously, it’s the real deal and not a tribute. This is the full-fat hybrid 918 Spyder, and for good measure, it doesn’t just have Acid Green accents – the whole thing is Acid Green. The price? Well, it’s got a “996” in it, but it’s just a tad more expensive than a 996….

2019 BMW Alpina B7 xDrive Individual

If you know me at all or even remotely follow these posts, you’ll know we’re here for two reasons. The lesser here, amazingly, is that this is an Alpina. Now, modern Alpinas may have lost some of the unique character that the company infused into them in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, but they’re still very special and very rare cars to see. But let’s get to the real reason this one caught my eye…and will catch the eye of anyone, really. This particular 2019 B7 xDrive was run through BMW’s Individual department. Now, the color isn’t disclosed in the ad, but I’m pretty sure this is one of my favorites – Java Green Metallic.
