For my second Carrera, we have this Guards Red over Black 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe, located in Atlanta, with 75,488 miles on it. Unlike the Venetian Blue Targa, this Guards Red coupe is a much more common example and sits with a few more miles, though still with quite reasonable mileage for its age. It looks in very good shape though, with few apparent cosmetic defects. It should also be had at a much lower price making it a nice option for those looking for a driver-quality Carrera that also has good upside.

It probably goes without saying that between this Coupe and the Venetian Blue Targa the asking price would likely decide which 911 most would pursue with any effort. On this Guards Red example much of it looks quite good though the seller has listed both front and rear spoilers as options on the car, yet neither appears present here. Obviously, that they are missing raises some questions, but we can hope this simply is a matter of the current owner having removed them rather than an accident or some other more worrying issue that lead to their removal. Bidding sits right at $35K and for an ’84 Carrera Coupe with this mileage that feels about right. The reserve remains unmet though so this may not end in a sale.
