This 911 absolutely screams “Beach!” to me. Of course, with 580 hp coming from its 3.8 liter twin-turbocharged flat-six this Turbo S will scream just about anywhere. But all of that power isn’t really what attracted me. The 911 Turbo S is Porsche’s ultimate luxury performance machine and in Cabriolet form it certainly slants further to the luxury tourer side than a Coupe would. The power always will be there lurking beneath your right foot in case you ever need it, but for those who want all of that power and fewer amenities Porsche offers the GT2. That’s not what this 911 is about.
And it is in that regard that I think this Turbo S was put together quite well. There’s a nice attention to detail in this build and for those looking to cruise and be seen I don’t know that you’d find a better option from Porsche. This is a Miami Blue 2017 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet, located in Houston, with Chalk over Graphite Blue interior and 8,760 miles on it. With over 8K miles and barely a year old its previous owner certainly seems to have enjoyed it!

I don’t think I’d ever have thought of this color combination for the exterior and interior, but I really like the way it all comes together. It’s incredibly striking, but not garish. Obviously, the exterior will turn plenty of heads. Miami Blue follows in the footsteps of the many very vibrant blues Porsche has produced. It’s not for the faint of heart, but on a 580 hp Cabriolet it does seem very appropriate. It is the interior that I really find most striking though. Chalk/Graphite Blue is one of the available interior options so it isn’t as if the original buyer came up with the idea himself, but there are still some nice additional touches that complete the package. The Graphite Blue seat inserts are a wonderful addition and the painted interior trim brings just enough of the brightness from the Miami Blue exterior into the interior. The white gauge faces too are a nice addition. The only thing I’d change is to get rid of the painted air vent slats, but here they appear far less intrusive than on other examples I’ve seen. Overall, it’s a thoughtful build with regard to the color selections and it can be very easy to get those color selections wrong among the many offerings Porsche makes available.
As far as the asking price goes, I’d imagine this one came in with an MSRP around $220K so by allowing the previous owner to tack on the first few thousand miles you’re getting a more than $40K discount. Given that 8K miles even is on the higher side of what we’d expect for a fairly new Turbo S you may even be able to get that price to come down a little further. It’s not a bad price though as it is. A Turbo S Cabriolet isn’t necessarily the 911 for me, but I do really like this one and for those looking for serious open-top performance capabilities and fantastic looks this Miami Blue example should provide all of that.
