Sometimes green works, while other times it was a bad idea. Today’s car, a 2022 Porsche 911 Carrera finished in Python Green, might just miss the mark. It isn’t the color that is the problem, but rather everything else that was optioned, or rather wasn’t, that maybe causes this one to look a bit odd. We’ve seen green 992s previously and it very clearly can work, but whoever spec’d this one needed some design help. Let me explain.

On the outside, you have the very loud and in-your-face paint, but then you base 19″ and 20″ wheels with the larger sidewall tire which kind of indicates you went with the no-extra-cost wheels. Maybe they would look better in black? On the inside, this was a swing and a miss going with two-tone Slate Grey and Chalk instead of black. That color combo doesn’t compliment the green paint at all and looks really out of place. I can maybe live with the wheels, but a hard pass on this interior.
An asking price of $130,000 for a base 992 with 4,800 seems high considering you can grab 992 Carrera S examples for that kind of money now. No, they won’t be Python Green, but they will probably have a better color scheme that doesn’t look so odd.

Huge pass on this. Far better examples to be had if you cast a wide enough net.
The blah, hospital-grey interior clashes horribly with the beautiful and bright exterior color. I could live with the wheels, but never with the interior color.
Nothing wrong with the wheels a nice saddle interior would look a lot better not black though every one with no imagination picks black
Obviously I am someone with “no imigination” LOL, and would pick black, green or
dark brown interior. Saddle aka dog-p**p would look totally out of place with the gorgeous exterior color.
Beautiful color but I always felt Python will look better on the cayman variants or the winged 911 GT cars – not the regular 911….
