Hammertime Updates

What happens when you get busy with the holidays and don’t post an update in late November? It means that we’ve got a lot of data points to consider in today’ Hammertime Update! There are some interesting numbers below, including impressive amounts for a low-mileage S500, a few air-cooled 911 sales, a few interesting BMW 5-series that changed hands, a brace of affordable 928s and plenty of deals to lament not jumping on. There was one repeat visitor; the unbelievable 1978 Scirocco I looked at last month re-appeared on the market at basically the same price bidding reached the first time around, and again it sold, reinforcing the strong market for these early, clean water-cooled VWs.

The 528 seemed like a good deal. I wish I was in position to buy it
